Have relevant experience, ideally with the Scout or Venturer Scout age sections, and preferably prior Jamboree or Venture experience.

Additional Considerations:
-
Other membership categories may be considered by the Contingent Leader—together with the International Commissioner—where specific skills or experience are required.
-
Adults may be selected to fulfil quotas for Troop Leaders, Assistant Troop Leaders, or IST roles as set by the 24th Aotearoa New Zealand Jamboree Organising Committee.
-
Adults holding Adventurous Activity qualifications may be recommended to support the Jamboree’s activity teams.
-
Approval by the Australian Contingent does not guarantee approval by the Jamboree Organising Committee; attendance is subject to a suitable role being available.

Line Leader Vs. IST
Line Leader:
Line Leaders will be appointed to Jamboree Troops and will play a critical role in the daily operation of each Troop. Their responsibilities include supporting the welfare, safety, and wellbeing of Youth Members, guiding Patrol activities, and ensuring the smooth running of the Unit throughout the Jamboree. Line Leaders will work collaboratively with other Adult Leaders to create a positive, supportive, and safe environment for every Scout.
International Service Team (IST):
IST members will serve in operational roles across the event, providing essential support to areas such as activities, programme delivery, entertainment, site operations, catering, logistics, and other event teams. These positions are service-oriented and are vital to the successful delivery of the Jamboree experience.
