Roselin Parsons
Health and Wellbeing Team

Hey, I'm Ros - a Scout born and bred and still at it in Rovers at Evans (VIC).

I've loved all the opportunities Scouting has offered me, including participant at the 2015 World Jamboree, in Japan, multiple Australian Jamborees, plus the smaller camps, including Stradbroke, Cohen Shield, and now, providing first aid/healthcare services at these camps!
I applied to be part of the NZ Jamboree CMT as James roped me into it (Cheers, Warren!!) But also, because I've really enjoyed using my work life skills to give back to an organisation that's helped shape me as a young adult, in hopes that I make a small difference in many other Scouting Youths' journeys. Plus, New Zealand seemed like a pretty cool place to visit.
A fun fact about me is that I've been to Queensland state camps as a Scout (14yo) - all thanks to trying these big events!

James Warren
Deputy Contingent Leader
James is a Scout Leader in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne and was previously a Joey Scout Leader. He has been part of Scouting since 2007 and has taken on a wide variety of roles at local, district, state and national levels. Over the years, James has contributed to multiple major events, always bringing energy, creativity and a strong focus on youth development.

This will be his third New Zealand Jamboree, and he is just as excited as ever to help lead the adventure. His experience includes leadership roles at large-scale events such as Boost Camp (VIC), Kangaree (VIC), and Governor-General’s Camp, as well as service on a range of teams supporting youth and adult development.

Chris has been the Branch International Commissioner for Scouts South Australia, the Chief Commissioner of Scouts South Australia and the Chief Commissioner of Scouts Australia!
Chris has attended numerous Jamborees, including the 1993/94 Australian Jamboree in Perth, the 1998/99 World Scout Jamboree in Chile, the 1997/98 Australian Jamboree in Ipswich, the 2000/01 Australian Jamboree at Cataract, and the 2004 Australian Jamboree in Adelaide.
Chris was the Admin/Finance lead for 2019 NZJ but was unable to attend the camp itself. This Jamboree is his redo, the same site from 2019, but with a whole new team!
Fun fact – Chris used to breed Red Canaries and is qualified to judge several breeds of Canaries!
